Excess is excited to offer the all new XLC-1 507 Alloy Wheelset. Track tested and rider approved, the new Excess XLC line are race focused and offer options for all level of racers and budgets!
Pro Lite/Pro 24” Wheelset features a rear Cassette Hub with a 3 pawl, single engagement system, to a 24 ratchet ring inside the rear hub. Rear Cog is not included with the wheel set. The XLC-1 also uses our exclusive rims that offer 2 different rim profiles that feature a low profile, Double walled 6061 T6 Alloy rim with Optimized Internal Geometry for light weight and optional strength.
The rear hub also offers the option for you to be able to convert it for use with a disc brake! We offer this by allowing you to be able to accept a disc brake via an optional Disc Center Lock adapter! This gives you the best of both worlds. The Wheels are set up out of the box for V Brakes, but you can upgrade to Disc at anytime without getting a new rear hub!
For the Front hub, we also offer a front Axle Conversion kit to change it from the stock 3/8 to 20mm! The wheels are delivered with a 3/8 front axle set up, but with the purchase of the optional front 20mm hub conversion kit, you can convert the front hub to 20mm, allowing you to be able to use a 20mm dropout fork!
All the wheels feature new graphics, Black Anodized finish, and 2 unique different Rim Profiles.

• Wheel set is not delivered with a rear cog
• Option to replace the supplied alloy lock ring and install the Center Lock Disc Adapter
• Optional Center Lock adapter not included
